Day 1 Arrive in Bali

Upon arrival into Bali, you are greeted and transferred to the Alila Ubud in Ubud. You have a welcome dinner at Alila Ubud, with open bar for two hours.

Day 2 River Rafting

The action starts when you launch into a 9.6 km river stretch, navigating through 33 class II and III rapids set to a backdrop of wild unspoiled rainforest, towering gorges and magnificent rice paddy terraces.

Professionally trained and experienced guides pilot safety-equipped Avon rafts through the best river runs, dramatic drops and spectacular waterfalls to make your Bali rafting ride a fun and awesome experience.

End the action packed 2 hour journey with hot showers, clean towels and changing rooms followed by a hot gourmet buffet feast overlooking majestic mountains and rice fields.

You should be back at your hotel by 3pm, and you have the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the hotel and surroundings.

Dinner is at a restaurant in Ubud.

Day 3-4 Installing Bathrooms

Helping in Karangasem, East Bali, building bathrooms for households with physically disabled (mostly paraplegic) people. You can break into smaller groups and help build seven bathrooms; markedly improving the quality of life of the disabled people and their families. None of these families can afford to have these bathrooms installed. Lunch boxes, mineral water & snacks are provided.

You have the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the hotel and surroundings.

Dinner is at a restaurant in Ubud

Day 5 Surf lesson, Sightseeing or Cooking Class

This morning everyone can choose one of these:

  • Surfing lesson
  • Cooking lesson
  • 6 hour sightseeing in the Ubud area, and surrounds, visiting house compound, temple, and artisans (silver jewellery maker/woodcarver/ painter’s workshop and gallery,) and Goa Gajah ancient monasterial cave.

Afterwards everyone gets to experience a soothing spa treatment, get showered and changed for your farewell dinner at ARMA (AGUNG RAI’S MUSEUM OF ARTS).
